What we collect, and what we do with it.

What you give us. If you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type:

• Contact forms and Endless Summer applications: your name, phone number and email address.
• The Free Roadmap tool: your name, email, business name, and what you described about your business, including its industry and website if you gave them, along with the roadmap it produced.
• Event notifications: your name, email address and which event you asked about.
• The Planner Agent chat: the messages you type.
• Calls and web calls with Dani: your voice, a live transcript, and an email address or phone number if you give one. See Phone calls and AI.

What we collect automatically. When you visit, our servers and the tools below record your IP address, browser and device type, screen size, the pages you view, when you view them, and the address you came from. If you arrived from a link that carries campaign tags (for example from one of our LinkedIn posts), we record those tags too.

What we remember in your browser. We store a small note in your browser recording which link first brought you here. If you later submit a form, that note is sent with it, so we know which post or page introduced you. Apollo stores a random visitor ID in your browser for the same kind of purpose. Google Analytics sets cookies. You can clear all of these in your browser settings.

We may also store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit abuse of our tools. If you are a Byteable client and use the client portal, we also keep your account and sign-in details. That portal is separate from this website.

• To reply to you, book a conversation, and follow up on what you asked for.
• To run the tools you use, such as the Planner Agent, the Free Roadmap and Dani.
• To understand which pages and posts bring people here, and to improve the site.
• To email our team when a form is submitted, including what you typed, so someone can respond.
• To recognize which businesses visit the site and, where a business contact is identified, to reach out about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We keep information for as long as we need it for these purposes, then delete it or make it anonymous. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

We share information with the companies that run the site and its tools, and only as far as each needs it. We do not hand your contact details to other businesses to market their own products.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or if Byteable is involved in a sale or merger.

This site runs three tracking tools: Google Analytics, Metricool and Apollo. They run on our public pages only. They do not run inside the client portal.

Apollo is the one to know about. Its script gives your browser a random ID, reports the pages you view, and can use an identity service (LiveIntent) to match your browser to a hashed email address. That is how Apollo can tell us which company, and sometimes which person, visited. We do not load Apollo at all for visitors whose browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

To opt out:

• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or use a browser that sends it. Apollo will not load for you.
• Install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Block trackers with your browser’s privacy settings or an extension, or clear the site data your browser holds for us.
• Email us and we will delete what we hold and note that you do not want follow-up.

Google Analytics and Metricool do not currently change their behavior when your browser sends a privacy signal, so use one of the other options for them.

Dani is an AI receptionist, not a person. When you call, or start a call from this website, you are talking to a computer-generated voice. During a web call the site asks your browser for microphone access, and a live transcript appears next to the call.

We keep a transcript and a summary of the conversation, and we email them to our team along with the phone number or email address you gave. The Planner Agent works the same way for text: what you type is sent to an AI model provider (Anthropic) to write a reply.

Please do not share sensitive information, such as health details, financial account numbers or government ID numbers, in a call or a chat.

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us not to contact you. Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights under local law, including to opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising and to not be treated differently for using those rights. Email us and we will respond.

Every marketing email we send carries an unsubscribe option. This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise otherwise. We will update this page when what we do changes, and change the date at the top when we do.
